About Keith Finney

Author of historical mysteries and contemporary whodunnits

The Story… so far.

Keith Finney was born in the Northwest of England and grew up listening to and playing in Brass Bands.

After a varied career in construction, business and lecturing, Keith is now retired from his professional career and busies himself writing historical mysteries and contemporary cozy mysteries

Not that his literary efforts have always gone smoothy, from an abandoned hand-written manuscript during a challenging period in his life around thirty-five years ago, to more recent efforts at self-publishing books that failed to hit the mark… which led to a three-year hiatus from writing.

‘By 2017, Keith finally put aside his writing demons and created ‘The Norfolk Cozy Mysteries’, which established him as a successful author on Amazon.

In 2020, London publishers, Lume Books, approached Keith to write a three-book series of whodunnits set in Norfolk during WWII, and so, ‘The Lipton St Faith Mysteries’ were born with the first title published in June 2021, the second in October 2021, and the third title to be published in January 2022.

Keith’s new self-published series, ‘Rex and the Dowager’, is a fun collection of cozy mysteries set in 1920s England. The first book, ‘A Posh Murder’, is now available on Amazon with more to follow soon!.

Wow Keith….words fail me. So different from the cozy mysteries but extremely compelling I couldn’t put it down! I must admit from being an ardent Agatha Christie fan, I wasn’t sure I would or could take to it. I needed not of worried it was superb, well written and totally absorbing.
I look forward to further adventures with HG and Rex.
